  • Ground assessment using a backhoe or a heavy drilling rig with or without recording drill parameters, dynamic and static penetrometer tests, pressure meter tests, shear-tests, taking ground samples, drafting borehole logs
  • Foundation analysis: calculating acceptable limits and ground settling, choice of the type of foundation and its design
  • Analysis of overall stability of construction projects located on slopes and aquatic sites, foundation pile resistance to horizontal stress, etc.
  • Geotechnical expert evaluations - Analysis of reinforcement and underpinning plans
  • Monitoring and control of construction projects (through testing and visits to the site)

EARTHWORKS

  • On-site assessment using an auger, excavator, core-drilling and geophysical sampling: platforms and landfills, in particular in road and subdivision construction sectors (feasibility)
  • Analysis of drainage for construction and independent sewage systems
  • Looking for deposits of construction materials (for a quarry, etc.)
  • Laboratory testing and analysis of materials: studying identification, compacting and weight-bearing capacity
